Our Occupational Therapist and Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants aim to assist our residents' in reaching their maximum potential in areas such as activities of daily living. The resident is taught how to enhance their quality of life with the use strengthening, balance activities, visual perceptual skills, energy conservation, range of motion, coordination tasks, positioning, splinting, and the use of adaptive equipment. By directing and observing a resident carrying out selected tasks, the therapist can help the resident enhance performance, restore function, and promote and maintain an independent lifestyle.
